Care guide
Five minutes now, years of wear later. This is how we keep our own sets feeling like day one.
Washing
- -Hand wash cold with a mild detergent made for delicates.
- -Prefer the machine? Close all hooks, use a lingerie bag and choose a cold, delicate cycle.
- -Skip bleach and fabric softener - both break down elastic and dull lace and satin.
Drying
- -Press the water out gently in a towel; never wring.
- -Air dry flat, away from direct sun and radiators.
- -Keep it out of the tumble dryer - heat is what shortens the life of a good bra.
Storing
- -Store bras flat or stacked with the cups nested; folding a cup in on itself leaves a crease.
- -Give sets a drawer of their own so hooks cannot snag lace or satin.
- -Rotate between sets; a day of rest lets the elastic recover.
Wear
- -Two to three wears between washes is normal for a bra; bottoms are washed after every wear.
- -A strap that starts to slip usually needs a small adjustment, not a new size.
- -Not sure about the fit after a few wears? Our size guide walks you through it.
The care label inside each piece is always leading. Questions about a specific fabric, a repair or a fit that changed? We answer them personally.
